About BASF

Deccopyr Pot is a BASF fungicide, effective against post-harvest fruit rot in apples and pears. It contains 30% pyrimethanil, an active substance with a favourable residue profile, and is applied as a smoke generator in the cold store. This method protects the fruit against fungi such as Botrytis, Penicillium and Neofabraea and can complement or replace the spray schedule in the orchard. The application must take place under the supervision of a crop protection dealer, respecting a specific ventilation regime after activation of the smoke generator and adequate airing of the cold store afterwards.
